We Are the Asteroid is a is a series of conceptual, text-based public artworks by artist Justin Brice. The sandblasted solar-powered LED highway message board loops six ecological aphorisms written for Brice by eco philosopher Timothy Morton. The board flashes surprising poetry, metaphor, and humor to challenge viewers to think ecologically, while breaking down barriers to stimulate conversations about the environment.
