So many of us are critical of our drawing skills, but have you noticed that beautifully drawn line in galleries and museums isn’t always traditionally “well drawn”? In this workshop  we will choose a person or thing for which we are grateful. Then, using all sorts of tricks and tips, we will create portraits as a way of thanking, and honoring, those we appreciate in our communities. Remember, that a drawing does not need to be “perfect” to be rewarding and beautiful!

Public Gratitude Journal:  While in Breckenridge, visiting artist-in-residence Laura Raborn will be seeking to highlight the people, places and things that make this area special by inviting the community to express their #BreckGratitude.  Her free weekly workshops will consist of learning different artistic methods that can utilized to honor the people and surroundings that define a place.  Please join Laura in this project by using the Instagram hashtags #BreckGratitude and #BreckThanks to show your love for things that make Breckenridge, Breckenridge!
