Arneshia Williams

Arneshia Williams is a dance artist who highlights the influence of the African diaspora on various cultures.
Her work was shown at Cowles Center, Red Eye Theater, the Exchange Choreography Festival, and the Collegium for African Diaspora Dance. She received fellowships and scholarships from the University of Colorado Boulder, American Dance Festival, and Jacob’s Pillow. Her work examines forms of difference in search of movement that reveals intersections and diverging paths among everyday concepts. A sense of discovery is the way she begins to understand the layered conversations, textures, and cares captured by the act of moving.
