Advanced Metalsmithing: 2 day Workshop

These two-day workshops will explore advanced metalsmithing techniques. Please note that participants must attend both days. 

JUNE WORKSHOP

June’s workshop will explore stone settings; tubes, prongs and/or bezels. Working with sterling silver, cabochon stones, and faceted cubic zirconia, participants will design, fabricate and complete 1 to 2 wearable pieces of jewelry.

JULY WORKSHOP

July’s workshop will explore copper designs and what can be done to alter the surface. Participants will design, fabricate, and complete 1 to 2 wearable pieces of jewelry. Create a pendant, bracelet component or earrings. Texture, fuse silver, add color and explore enameling to create something original.

What to know before registering 

Soldering experience and some metalsmithing experience sawing and fabrication would be recommended for the most successful experience.

The cost of the class includes materials and tools.

Participants must be 17 or older to participate.
