Amy Fortier primarily works in acrylic paint on canvas and found objects. She dabbles in mosaics but prefers creating “fauxzaics” paintings that look like mosaics without the mess and weight of actually using tile. Amy is inspired by henna tattoos, stained glass, Moorish design, Moroccan tiles and natural images. Her eyes are drawn to pattern and color and she can’t help bringing more of both into the world.

Open Studios are an opportunity to explore a medium independently. Studio technicians will be present to register and orient participants, but theses sessions are not led by an instructor. Prior to attending on Open Studio session, participants must take a class on campus or be able to demonstrate experience with the respective medium.

BCA is excited to announce our new pricing structure starting this winter. Now all Core Classes and Open Studios are priced the same: BCA Member $15; Non-Member $20. The cost of materials may be additional, depending on the medium of the class.
